Reflex Racing 11mm Radial Tire - 30 Deg
All new from Reflex Racing is our brand new radial tires for RCP tracks. Through out testing in several spots across the USA we have found these tires to perform on par and often beyond the other offerings in the market. The feedback from both Pros and Joes is that these tires offer superior stability under rotation and great forward grip out of the corners. The design of this tires was conceptualized so that the tire was not directional and instead of building a tread pattern on a slick, we actually cut into the slick to create a tread pattern. The result is a tread that flexes less for more stability under load and better exit traction. The compound was selected so that these tires still perform really well once the tread pattern has worn down well beyond being visible. In high traction conditions, this allows this tire to be used in smaller diameters, providing superior corner speed. Additionally we optimized the tire diameter for maximum corner speed and better rotation on the individual application. The 14mm tire is only 24.5mm in diameter, while the 11mm tire comes in at 25.25mm when mounted with super glue. We recommend the 30 degree rear tires under most conditions. They work well in temps as low as 45 degrees (F) and perform well all the way into the 80's (F). If the grip is higher, simply cut the tire down smaller if you want a little more rotation in tight corners. ***Wheels are for picture only, they are not included***

Reflex Racing 8.5mm Low Profile Slick - 40 Deg
All new from Reflex Racing is our brand new Low Profile slick tires for RCP tracks. These tires are made from a very tough and long lasting grippy rubber. They were developed to match the grip envelope of our 30 degree radials. We recommend to mount the tires 1 of 2 ways: For a less hassle, no truing method, mount on a Reflex Racing Speed Dish Wheel with a 22.6 plate. Let the tire break in over time. It is very long lasting, but the results are that the tire works after a couple of laps. If it is too aggressive in the middle of the corner, try removing some camber or running a softer front spring. If you like to true your tires, mount them up on a truer and bring them down to 22.7-22.8mm and use with a 22.6 plate. After truing, the tires may be a little bit aggressive while they break in, so make sure you have some freshly skimmed 30 degree rear radials or you may have too much front bite. Since the material is very hard, we recommend running the tire truer where the tire and drum are spinning away from each other. With the PN Brand of truers, we find the most success running the truer in reverse and around 6v. So when do you chose the 45 vs the 40? The 40 cuts a little bit harder, but it is smoother in the middle of the corner. Opposite is true for the 45. It really depends on what you are trying to do. If you want more middle and exit, use the 45. If you want smoother middle and exit, use the 40. ***Wheels are for picture only, they are not included***
