Changing Spur Gear Ratio
Loosen Tension Nut to separate side gears.
Allow spider gear pins to recess into carrier. Depress with screw driver if necessary as shown by arrows.
Remove spur gear.
Installation is reverse of removal
Install Cover
Insert Outer Cover (with see through screw hole) in Spur Gear Groove (wheel side) and line up the screw hole with the spur gear
Insert Inner Cover (screw hole can't see through) in Spur Gear Groove (shaft side) and line up the screw hole with the spur gear
Install 3 screws, gently tighten diagonally (Thin Plastic can strip easily, Do Not Over Tighten)

Allow spider gear pins to recess into the carrier. Depress with a screwdriver if necessary, as shown by the arrows
Remove the spur gear
Installation is the reverse of removal

The large diameter ring is put inside of the ball diff or gear diff, and the small on put outside
Through intensive testing with different size balls we have determines that as strange as it sounds the outside pod ball size makes a significant difference in how the car handles so what we have done is split the difference between. The std kit balls are small and these ball studs are sized in between the small and what we felt was too big. The center ball now has the spacer built in and more thread length.
