Weight , the MWX chassis is lighter than the GL brass chassis and since most with this car run stock and super stock the heavy weight of the car naturally makes a difference. I basically shifted the weight into better positions to stabilize the handling while calming down the steering making the chassis wide everywhere is not optimal. High level competition has taught me this.
Due to the slightly heavier servo the car requires, I offset some of that Weight with a cutout under the servo.
Each chassis also comes with the infamous FPM (floating pod mount). to further enhance handling.
Finally a better choice of bearings for the GL line of cars. These bearings are ceramic and only have a shield on one side which gives you the least amount of friction.These bearings can be run dry or you can lubricate them.This is the 8 bearing kit which is for the dif, rear axle and front wheels
Single Shield dry ceramic motor bearings for 1/28 scale brushless motors (PN/GL) We suggest picking up a bottle of ProLube, you should not run them dry.

A simple piece for the GLF.GLR ,GT that eliminates the pod ball shims giving you the absolute perfect alignment and that translates to increase grip in the case that your shims were not perfect. the part is machined from solid Delrin (not 3d printed) and designed to have "squeeze" so if any slop develops you can tighten it up. i will make an install video before the release.
A heavy (4.85g) brass weight that is used under the rear pod on GL Racing GLR and GLR GT. This weight keeps the car flat and really stable in quick chicanes, increase rear grip.
In the GLF world we all have figured out that the brass chassis is just too heavy. Yes it drives better and is stable but due to the weight it accelerates slow and lap time's are slower. On the flipside the stock carbon chassis is great but it has a tendency to traction roll when pushed especially on high grip. So using the same theory as our national championship winning GLR chassis we have come up with a new design that is heavier than the carbon but also wider which promotes stability without hindering acceleration! With this chassis you can push the car hard and run the stickier 21 fronts and not have to cut them down as much.

This chassis will convert your GLR into a fierce machine:higher corner speedsextra stability less traction rolling on high gripIt completely changes the car so much that it requires different springs and softer front tires. We recommend GLF green sides springs for the front ( don't forget to re shim the knuckles) and we have found the KS soft and KSM softs have been the best front tire choices.

Want to make a quick offset change without changing tires? These dry ceramic bearings are 0.5mm thinner than the standard wheel bearings so removing your inside bearing and installing one of these will change your offset by .5 and you can do this on both sides!
You can make a 0 offset wheel -.5 and +.5 without taking a risk of gluing up a new tire!
