Custom made spring kit to adjust the different characteristics of : RTA V1.2 / V2 / V3 chassis on the front RTB chassis on the front and rear
This kit allows you to flatten the RTB steering links, generating less active toe. The result is as follows: + stability + freewheeling in corners + front grip without generating traction roll. + consistency The 2.5mm balls have been redesigned to eliminate steering play. They are now made of treated steel to prevent deformation. The differential bearings are now held in place by a small piece of elastic steel sheet, which prevents play or excessive tightening of the differential bearings. With this kit, you will need to adjust the length of the steering links to 25.5mm to get the original toe out of the RTB.
This kit allows you to adjust the rear caster of the RTB by simply changing the arms. Three caster settings are available: 3 degrees caster using the lower arm marked “C3” and the original upper arm 3 degrees caster using the upper arm marked “C3” and the original lower arm 6 degrees caster using the lower arm marked “C3” and the upper arm marked “C3”
This kit allows you to widen the front track of the RTB by 2.5mm. This allows the car to have more speed through large corners. The recommended wheel offset with these wide arms is 0.5mm You will need to extend the length of each turnbuckle by 1.25 mm to maintain your toe out setting This kit also allows you to adjust the caster by simply changing the arms. Four caster settings are available: 0 degrees of caster using the wide arms marked “W.” 3 degrees of caster using the lower wide arm marked “W” and ‘C3’ and the upper wide arm marked “W” 3 degrees of caster using the upper wide arm marked “W” and ‘C3’ and the lower wide arm marked “W” 6 degrees of caster using the lower wide arm marked “W” and “C3” and the upper wide arm marked ‘W’ and “C3” Included in the kit: 1.25mm inner joint shafts to replace the original one
These spacers eliminate the play between the shaft and bearings of knuckle. The use of these spacers also allows you to tighten the wheel nut without the risk of damage the bearings. We recommend using this option only with the aluminum version of the knuckles.
