GL Racing worked with one of the leading Lexan shell manufacturer BLITZ Bodyshell to bring you the 1/27 P1M. Based on Blitz P1, we worked with Blitz to produce something closer to real car dimensions with longer bonnet and longer tail than their 1/12 offering.
Wheelbase is 98mm, body width is just under 80mm fitting in with current lexan shells on the market to maximize performance while staying under 80mm for most racing rules.
Testing showed that this shell has great driving characteristics, higher top speed, high speed stability as well as nimble rotation through slower corners.
Comes readily with Windows Masks and Stickers, too!

GL High-Torque Brushless Motor (8600KV)
Motor developed with NiMH Mini-Zs as well as GLA in mind, very high power for expert users
More power - one of the most powerful motors out there, due to its High Torque, KV rating is not high, but more poweful than some higher KV motors on market
Easier to control - with a more linear power band making your car easier to control.
Longer run time - it also boast higher electrical efficiency than motors of the same class
Powerful til the end - Power level stays more consistent towards the end of each run, but this does mean that motor feels hotter at the end of run, because it stayed at high power levels until the very end.
Taller gear ratios - recommended GLA gear ratio from 8.2 to 9.5 depending on your driving style and track layout
TIP: Wiring is reverse to PN, so if you are swapping out a PN, swap any 2 of the 3 motor wires

For years, we have plastic rims, and alloy rims, alloys look great, but are heavy and don't offer enough flex to absorb vibrations, as a result, like a stiff chassis, the car end up heavy and with less grip. Not to mention that alloy wheels are very expensive, so not very practical for racing. On the other hand, plastic rims offer light weight, good grip, but not such good looks, but for racers, performance is most important, so they have been the main choice for most racers, plus they are also quite cheap, so racers can keep opening new ones for consistent performance.
Then we have the machine cut Derlin or plastic rims, these offer light weight, machine cut precision, but are often too soft and also quite expensive.
Now, GL offers the carbon rims, they are made with a plastic re-enforced by carbon, look realistic, much harder than ordinary plastic, this translates to consistent and smooth cornering, but still offer good flex unlike alloys, these rims are also machine cut, offering perfect roundness and symmetry right when you open the packaging. We belief these rims are the very best rims money can buy, and should set a new standard for Mini-Z racing.
